There are close relationship between modem design with the core spiritual characteristics in Huxiang Culture, such as ＂Concern for the country＂, ＂Dare to be the First,＂ ＂Seeking truth from Facts＂ and ＂Inclusiveness＂. The diverse ethnic composition and various cultural background in Huxiang has produced different kinds of life styles, and also created a rich variety of furniture with unique shapes and decorations, The aesthetic taste and cultural ligatures of Huxiang culture in different historical periods was discussed through physical heritage here. Based on Hunan traditional culture, the design method taking the Huxiang traditional philosophy as the spirit of design, is still a very effective way to design and innovate.
