More existing researches focus on the relationship between the behavior of skipping class and academic performance. However, few research concern the influence of this behavior on college graduates" future career development. Based on the analysis of over 16,000 male graduates" survey data, this paper finds that the severity degree of skipping classes is directly proportional to the salary of graduates" first job and the present job. The more severity of skipping class, the lower graduates" matching their major and satisfaction degree for their work environment, and the stronger the will of mobility. Graduates with rich experience of skipping class are more willing to go to international companies or to start their own businesses. On the contrary, their opposites are more interested in government, public institutions and state-owned enterprises. The higher severity degree of the graduates" skips, the more they think that the ability of college training will not meet the needs of their current positions.
