正畸美学的发展与回顾——认知协调侧貌

稳定、功能、美观是正畸的目标。颜貌美学是正畸诊断和治疗计划的关键考量因素,而良好的侧貌也是多数正畸患者的主要诉求。近百年来正畸美学的评估也随着科学技术的快速发展发生了巨大改变,各种不同的方法被应用于评估颜貌特点,如人体测量学、像片测量分析、计算机成像技术、头影测量分析等。本文就关于不同年代正畸美学侧貌认知的纵向发展作一综述。

Stability, function, and esthetics are the goals of orthodontic treatment. When performing an orthodontic diagnosis and a treatment plan, facial esthetics becomes the key factor to be emphasized on. A pleasing profile look has been a great concern in most or- thodontic patients. In nearly a century, due to an advancement of new technology, there is a remarkable change in the evaluation of or- thodontic esthetics. This change has benefited the assessment of facial characteristics through various techniques, such as the use of an- thropometry, picture analysis, computer-generated imaging, cephalometric analysis, etc. This paper will review the longitudinal devel- opment in profile analysis at different times.
