秦之攻守得失与贾谊“过秦”主张

Gain and Loss of Offence and Defense in the Qin Dynasty and Jia Yi's Proposal of “the Faults of Qin”

秦始皇定天下于一尊而遽然覆灭,激荡起汉初"过秦"思潮,贾谊认为秦之速亡在于秦政暴虐惨刻不知攻守之势异。为此,他批判秦帝国的极端法家文化,亟待汉王朝能够转变治国理念以顺应"守天下"的新形势,实施儒家仁义传统。

Qin Shihuang brought the whole world under his domination,but then Empire Qin collapsed abruptly,which stirred up the current of ＂faults of Qin＂. Jia Yi believed the reason why Qin collapsed was that Qin was so tyrannical that the offensive and defensive tendency changed. Therefore,he criticized extreme Legalist culture of Qin,expecting Han Dynasty can alter its concept of governing a country to follow the new trend of ＂Defending the state＂,and hoped Han Dynasty can follow the tradition of Confucian benevolence and righteousness.
