In her famous piece Nettles,Alice Munro tells a story that a middle-aged woman in her depression encountered her puppy love Mike,who aroused her complex feelings,and finally she was enlightened. Based on Gerard Genette＇s narrative time theory,the author tries to analyze how a simple story lavishes aesthetic experience from three aspects：narrative rhythm,time sequence,and narrative frequency.
