美国佐治亚大学罗素图书馆口述历史计划调查分析

Investigation and Analysis of Oral History Program of Russell Library in University of Georgia

口述历史文献在馆藏建设和利用服务方面具有重要意义与价值。笔者选择美国佐治亚大学罗素图书馆口述历史计划为研究对象,通过网络调查法、Email咨询、文本分析等方法,对其资源采集与组织、产品与服务、治理与经费等方面进行了详细调查分析,总结其特征,认为图书馆开展口述历史工作应该注重合作共享、构建服务体系,准确评估、慎选管理模式,特色为主、切忌委"曲"求"全",因地制宜选择采集方式。

Oral historical document plays a significant and valuable role in collection construction and utilization service. This paper chooses the oral history of the Russell Library of the University of Georgia in America as the research object, through network sur- vey, email counseling, text analysis and other methods, investigates and analyses in detail on resource collection and organization, products and services, governance and funding,summarizes its characteristics. It is believed that the library should carry out the oral history work with focus on cooperation and sharing, build service system, accurate assessment, select the management model, fea- tures predominantly, avoid pursue the scale only,adapt to the local conditions, select the acquisition method.
