The calcium carbide pneumatic conveying system used in production of acetylene by dry process was introduced. The system was reformed and perfected to solve the problems occurred in production, then the pneumatic conveying system was popularized and applied in the transportation of calcium carbide powders. This was a successful case for the design of calcium carbide crushing and conveying device.
