摘要
主张新诗要雅和主张新诗要雅俗共赏、都有其理论的合理性。问题在于实践,理论上的雅与雅俗共赏的共相对立,在实践中往往变异为雅与俗的二元对立,前者陷入晦涩怪异,后者走向“通俗化”、“大众化”,这显然与对雅俗的理解和把握有关。雅俗是相对的,其概念显然难以定义。如何处理雅俗之间的关系,是一个巨大的难题。
Theoretically it is reasonable to maintain that new verse should be elegant or both elegant and popular.Practice is the Key point. in which theoretical coexisting opposition dissimilates into practical dualistic opposition between elegance and popularness. The former falls into obscurity and grotesqucness while the latter leads to popularization. Retinedness and popularness are relative and .therefore .hard to be detined. Hence the problem is how to handle the subtle relations between refinedncss and popularness.
