摘要
采用弱极性端羧基聚丁二烯(CTPB)改性环氧树脂(EP),通过红外光谱(FTIR)、动态力学分析(DMA)、力学性能、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)及阻抗分析等研究了CTPB对EP改性效果。研究表明:EP端环氧基团与CTPB羧基发生化学反应,强化了二者相容性;均匀分散于EP基体中的CTPB微粒在固化时和EP产生相分离,呈两相结构。随着CTPB含量的增加,固化后改性EP储能模量和力学强度降低,力学损耗增大,断裂伸长率及冲击强度显著提高,20份CTPB改性EP的综合力学性能较好。和纯EP相比,改性EP绝缘电阻和击穿电压升高,介电常数和损耗因子下降。
The investigations on the modification of epoxy (EP) with a liquid carboxyl-terminated polybutadiene (CTPB) were carried out by FTIR, DMA, mechanical measurements, SEM, and dielectric analyzer, etc. The results show that the chemical reaction of the epoxy group at the EP end and the CTPB carboxyl group has en- hanced the compatibility of the two components. The CTPB particles dispersing uniformly in the EP matrix are separated from the EP phase at the curing time, and the structure is two phase structure. With the increasing of CTPB content the storage modu- lus and mechanical strength of the modified EP decrease, while the mechanical loss increases. The elongation at break and the impact strength increase significantly, and the comprehensive mechanical properties of the 20 phr CTPB modified EP were better. Compared with pure EP, the insulation resistance and breakdown voltage of the modified EP increase, and the dielectric constant and loss decrease.
