河北省是全国产量第一的钢铁大省,多年来过度追求规模和速度的粗放型模式导致严重的钢铁产能结构性过剩,资源消耗量大,环境污染严重。在前所未有的机遇和压力下,河北省钢铁产业必须实现绿色转型,要以可持续发展理念为指导优化需求结构和供给结构,建立绿色发展的长效机制,实现化解过剩产能和钢铁产业绿色转型的双重目标。

Hebei Province is the largest iron and steel industry province in China. For years, iron and steel has adopted extensive growth style which overly purses speed and scale, and results in the serious structural overcapacity problem, massive resource consumption and heavy environmental pollution. Facing unprecedented opportunities and pressures, iron and steel industry of Hebei province must realize green transformation, taking sustainable development concept as the goal to optimize demand and supply structure and establish long-term mecha- nism of green development. As a result, the double goal of resolving iron and steel overcapacity and green transformation can be achieved.
