摘要
历史文献证据是历史研究的基础。历史文献中,有许多已公开发布的文献较易获取,而其他类型的证据,如档案纪录则可能较难获得。口头资源、视觉证据和文物均可作为重要的历史文献。历史学家可能会运用质性和量性证据,并结合不同来源和类型的历史文献来解决特定的历史研究问题。
Engagement with historical sources of evidence is the basis for historical research in education. There are many published and readily accessible documents that may be used for this purpose, while other kinds of evidence such as archival documentary materia! may be more difficult to access. Oral sources, visual evidence and physical artifacts can also constitute significant historical data. Historians may make use of quantitative as well as qualitative evidence, and will often combine different sources and types of historical evidence in addressing a particular issue or problem of his-torical research.
