礼制乱象:杨昌浚请修琦善专祠事件考述

The Chaoses of the Etiquette:On Yang Changjun's Requiring Qi Shan to Repair Temple

光绪七年(1881年)十月,护理陕甘总督杨昌浚依据地方士绅公呈,奏请修建琦善专祠。对此,朝廷各方意见分歧。光绪皇帝起初御批允行,但经翰林院侍讲学士陈宝箴与吏科给事中张道渊的强力反对,又峻拒杨昌浚所请。纵观整个请祠事件,皇帝、京官、督抚之间对该事的意见迥异,反映出晚清的礼制已经失范,逐渐失去控制地方社会的功能。

October in Kuang-hsu seven twenty-eight years（1881.12）,the agent Governor of Shan Gan according to the local gentry request, pleased to build special temple for Qi Shan.In this event,the ideas of the court were different.The emperor approved this request in the beginning. However the Hanlin Academy officer Chen Baozhen and Li Ke supervisor Zhang Daoyuan opposed to approve the request.Therefore,the emperor refused the Governor Yang requirement seriously. Throughout the temple event, the views among the emperor,the officials in Beijing, governors were different.The whole process reflects the late Qing Dynasty etiquette had been damaged,which had gradually lost function to control the local society.
