摘要
通过对翻译中的"假朋友"现象的概念和分类进行阐述,结合中文菜名的命名特点,对中文菜名翻译中"假朋友"现象进行分析,并探析"假朋友"现象的五种成因。通过对大量菜名英译中的"假朋友"进行案例分析,指出其中翻译的错误,并给出推荐译文,提出中文菜名翻译中"假朋友"现象的应对策略。
The paper illustrates the phenomena of "false friends"in translation from its definition and classification,and summarizes the five causes of "false friends"in the translation of Chinese dish names based on the naming characteristics of Chinese dish names. Solutions for the avoidance of "false friends"in dish names translation have been put forward through numerous case studies of "false friends"in dish names translation and the suggested translations have been put forward.
