Syntactic Analysis of Prepositional Phrases in Power Sci-Tech English Text of Electric Power

分析了电力科技英语阅读中介词短语的句法作用,首先对介词进行了简单的分类,接着介绍了介词短语的基本语法功能,并对介词短语在电力科技文献中的不同语法功能进行了分析,最后对一些介词的特殊功能做了简单分析,如介词to与不定式to的识别、介词与连词的区分、介词引出的不定式逻辑主语及独立结构等,从而可以更好地识别介词短语的句法作用,提高电力科技英语文献的阅读能力。

The syntactic functions of prepositions as used in power sci-tech English texts are analyzed based on the classification of prepositions. Then,the basic grammatical functions of prepositional phrases and ways of analyzing their various usages in power sci-tech English texts are discussed. Finally,some special functions of certain prepositions are expounded so as to help better understand the syntactic functions of prepositional phrases and improve the reading skills of power sci-tech English texts.
