On Improving and Strengthening the Ideological and Political Work in Open and Distance Education

习近平总书记在全国高校思想政治工作会议上发表重要讲话,强调要"因事而化、因时而进、因势而新"做好高校思想政治工作。远程开放教育作为高等教育人才培养、社会服务的重要组成部分,必须结合自身特点,从体制机制、人员队伍、载体平台等方面进行改进和创新,构建具有自身特色的思想政治工作新格局。

General secretary Xi Jinping,in the national college ideological and political work conference, has put forward the task that ideological and political work in colleges should "develop based on the basic facts, keep pace with the times and innovate with the trend." As an important component of higher education and social service, open and distance education must improve and innovate the system mechanism, teaching staff, and carrier platform, etc., to construct a new pattern of ideological and political work with our own characteristics.
