This paper introduces the status of the course of principle and equipment of refrigeration in major of energy and power engineering. The current teaching status and existing problems of refrigeration course are stated. According to the problems, the reformatory or optimized plans are made on teaching contents, teaching methods, practice and assessment method.To realize the aim of cultivating high-quality and application-oriented undergraduates with innovative abilities.
