在经济全球化背景下,作为知识传播和信息传递的重要媒介,土木工程专业英语已成为土木领域高素质人才的必备工具,其重要性也日益突出。为保证土木工程专业英语教学取得良好的教学效果,本文针对农林类高校专业英语教学存在的现状和问题,从教学理论、师资建设和教学模式等方面研究探讨土木工程专业英语教学的改革和创新,以期找到适合农林高校实际的专业英语教学理念和思路,建立一个适合人才培养规律、顺应市场培养需求的新型土木工程专业英语教学模式。

Under the circumstances of economic globalization,special English for civil engineering, as the vehicle to spread andconvey professional knowledge and information, has become anessential tool to high quality talent in the field of civil engineer-ing. Thus special English teaching is becoming increasingly im-portant. In order to achieve the best teaching effects, reform andinnovation in teaching theory, and teaching mode are explored onthe basis of existed situation and problems in agricultural andforestry colleges and universities, with the hope to find the mostsuitable ideals and methods in special English teaching, andconstruct a new special English teaching mode suitable for talenttraining and market demand.
