社会资本、人力资本与资源诅咒对经济增长作用

The Influence of Social Capital,Human Capital and Resource Curse on Economic Development

基于1995—2014年57个国家的面板数据,借助面板门限模型考察社会资本、人力资本与资源诅咒之间的作用机理,同时对资源诅咒进行分区域检验以及考察自然资源对经济发展的传导机制。结果表明:总体而言,资源依赖对经济增长的影响存在社会资本与人力资本投入的门限效应,当社会资本、人力资本投入的门限值分别大于1.861、4.160时,资源依赖对经济增长起促进作用;对发达国家而言,不存在资源诅咒现象,反而是资源福音,资源诅咒只存在于发展中国家。从传导机制来看,不管是发达国家还是发展中国家,对资源的依赖在一定程度上会对较高效率的部门产生挤出效应,而经济较发达的国家可以通过对资源的有效、合理利用,促进社会资本的提高,加快人力资本的积累,扩大对外开放的水平,从而为解除资源诅咒提供有效的途径。

This paper tests the mechanism of social capital,human capital and resource curse and its transmission mechanism of resource dependence to economic development. The results show that on the whole,the effect of resource dependence on economic growth is the threshold effect of social capital and human capital investment.When the threshold of social capital and human capital investment is greater than 1. 861 and 4. 160,resource dependence can promote economic growth. For the developed countries,there is no resource curse,but the resource blessing,the resource curse exists only in developing countries. From the transmission mechanism,either developed or developing countries,resource dependence to some extent has a crowding-out effect on efficiency sectors,whereas the developed countries through the effective and rational use of resources,promote the level of social capital,accelerate the accumulation of human capital,expand the level of opening up,so as to provide effective ways for lifting the resource curse.
