实证研究发现,厦门民营博物馆存在着收入模式不清晰,资金来源渠道单一;发展方向模糊,缺乏差异化运营理念;缺乏与社区、高校、企业等其他社会组织的互通模式;政府管理缺位等问题。为提升民营博物馆在公众审美教育、社区情感枢纽、城市品牌宣传、社会柔性治理等方面的公共服务职能,民营博物馆应采取差异化办展思路,拓宽观众渠道;政府可以通过"购买服务"或专题基金形式激活民营博物馆活力,并建立完善的效能评估机制,规范民营博物馆行为,同时,引导博物馆与高校、社区建立长期性合作机制,增强核心行动力,并主导设立专家委员会,建立科学的后评价机制,以形成提升民营博物馆公共服务功能的重要保障机制。
