Based on the example of Huadian Laizhou Power Generation Company Limited's 2 × 1 000 MW coal-fired unit,the incident of air preheater runback( RB) was introduced. Analyzing the cause of the trip,detailed preventive measures were provided,which can secure the operation of the unit.
