创新驱动发展战略既是我们党关于科技创新理论和战略的接力强调中的重要一环,又是我们党应对当前国内外形势发展提出新要求的重大举措。在这一战略的引领下,我国在各领域迈出了由大变强的重要步伐。但我国在创新驱动发展方面也面临着严峻挑战和重要机遇。挑战是我国的自制创新能力还不够强,关键技术自给率低,与世界制造强国的差距仍很明显。但我国科技创新又面临大好机遇,只要我们紧紧抓住和用好这些机遇,就一定能够从决胜全面建成小康社会一直到全面建成社会主义现代化强国。

The innovation-driven development strategy is botli an important link in theon the theory and strategy for innovation in science and technology, and a significant sponse to the new requirements raised by the development of current domestic and foreign situations. Under theguidance of this strategy,our country has taken major steps in all areas. Yet,there exist severe challenges and greatopportunities for innovation-driven development in our country. The chaienges include the weaknesindependent innovation, low rate of self-sufficiency in key technologies, and apparent gaturing powers. However, there are great opportunities for innovation in science and technology ly taking and nicely using these opportunities,we will be destined to successfully realize the strategic vision of theParty’s 19th National Congress from decisive victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects tomaking a great modern socialist countryin everydimension under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core.
