指示关系的建构:珠三角地区农民工手机交往的民族志研究

A Construction of Indexical Relationship in an Ethnography Study of the Peasant Workers' Communication with Mobile Phones in the Pearl River Delta Area

以珠三角地区新生代农民工的手机消费和手机社交为切入点,将珠三角地区的社会文化环境——大规模移民形成的移民城市以及在城市中弥散的城乡二元结构——及新生代农民工工作生活的情景作为分析该群体手机使用的背景,运用语言学中的"指示性理论"作为分析工具,研究发现新生代农民工手机消费和手机使用是同他们所处的社会情景有着指示性的关系的,线上的虚拟网络和线下的现实生活之间是有着密切的关联的。这样的分析方法有助于我们在当下的社会情境中解读他们在珠三角的生存状态。

Based on the fieldwork in Southeast China, this paper focuses on the mobile phone consumption and mobile social activities of the new migrant workers, applying indexical theory as an analytical tool to show the indexical relationship between the consumption and utilization of mobile phones and the social circumstances of the new migrant workers. The indexical theory which could help us understand the living condition of the migrant workers in southeast China can afford another view point of the relationship between their on-line life and offline life.
