Brief Study of the Development Period of Huqiu Opera Meeting

从虎丘曲会重新得以恢复至今已举办了十七届,它又成为了苏州特有的文化盛会,虎丘曲会从准备期、兴盛期到式微期直至最后的没落、重新复苏,一直与昆曲保持着密切关系,记载了这门古老艺术的沉浮转折。新世纪以来,研究虎丘曲会的学者越来越多,研究角度广泛,在此,对现存的有关虎丘曲会的资料进行了分期整理研究,结合运用戏曲史学、社会学、民俗学,从而形成虎丘曲会发展时期的基本脉络。

It has been held for 17 times since the restoration of the Huqiu Opera Meeting. It has become a special cultural event in Suzhou. The Huqiu Opera Meeting has intimate relationship with kunqu from the preparation period,the prosperous period to the decline period and final decline,recording ups and downs of the ancient art. Since the beginning of the new century,there are more and more scholars studying the Huqiu Opera Meeting,and the research angle is wide. The research is carried out by sorting materials,combined with the use of drama history,sociology,folklore,and thus forming the development of the Huqiu Opera Meeting.
