Due to the large number of communication devices and also the dispersion of the communication stations, new safety management system should be developed for the communication department. Construction experience of the safety management system in China Yangtze Power Company is summarized. Firstly, in order to get the device operation situation timely, all alarm signals from the device room are collected and pushed through the mobile APP WeChat. Then, with the three dimensional modeling and the online monitoring of the fiber cables, the layout and routing situations of the cables are obtained, which provides a convenient and intuitive cable management. Also, the efficient QR code technique is adopted in the management of the safety equipment.
