王古鲁是民国时期日本访书的重要代表人物之一,其访书以中国小说戏曲稀本为主,将访得的书拍摄回国。对王古鲁的生平和学术活动、访书的背景、经过和收获等进行考述,具有重要的学术价值及现实意义。

Wang Gulu was one of the most important representatives of book-seeking in Japan in the period of the Republic of China. His book-seeking was focused on Chinese novels and operas,and the books were took photographs and brought back to China by him. This paper mainly introduced the life and academic activities of Wang Gulu,and the background,the process and the harvest of his book-seeking.
