中华穿山甲人工饲养常见疾病治疗和预防

Treatment and Prevention of Common Diseases of Chinese Pangolin

通过对林业部门没收的中华穿山甲所发生的疾病进行诊断治疗,并结合文献归纳总结穿山甲人工饲养过程中的常见疾病与治疗方案。同时根据实际饲养情况提出饲养环境中能造成疾病的潜在因素。在对2只中华穿山甲饲养过程中分别出现了呼吸道感染、消化道腹泻、体内寄生虫感染等问题,通过治疗得到明显的改善,活动能力增强。在饲养管理过程中,总结饲养经验,分别从饲养管理、抗应激措施、畜舍建设和环境管理4个方面说明在疾病预防上的注意事项。

By putting together the experience of diagnosis and treatment of Chinese pangolin confis- cated by the Forestry Authority and reviewing lectures, we summarized the common diseases and treatments of captive Chinese pangolin. We suggest here the potential causes of disease under captive conditions. One captive Chinese pangolin displayed symptoms of respiratory infection and another showed symptoms of diarrhea, and parasitic infections. After treatment, they showed ob- vious improvement, and became more active. In the process of husbandry, we summarized our experience, and put forward the precautions on the prevention of disease from four aspects： feed management, stress management, corral construction and environmental management.
