Research on layered optimization method of VoLTE packet loss problem

VoLTE是LTE网络语音演进的最终目标方案。VoLTE语音业务中,分组丢失问题是影响语音质量的关键因素之一。高分组丢失率会导致语音吞字、断续、单通等问题,严重影响用户感知。本文从VoLTE协议栈入手,分析各协议层主要功能,提出分组丢失问题优化方法,展示参数试点效果。

VoLTE as a final solution of voice service for LTE network. Packet loss problem is one of the key factors that affect VoLTE speech quality. High packet loss rate will lead to voice swallow word, intermittent, single pass and other issues, seriously affecting the user perception. This paper starts from the VoLTE protocol stack, analyzes the main functions of each protocol layer, proposes the optimization method of packet loss problem, and displays the pilot effect of the parameters.
