Entrepreneurial Failure Experience,Learning from Failure and Subsequent Entrepreneurial Intention

通过引入失败学习变量,构建以创业失败经历、失败学习和再创业意愿为核心的研究框架,基于214名具有失败经历的创业者的实证调研数据,运用相关分析和层次回归等方法进行分析,结果表明:创业失败次数、失败程度分别和失败学习、再创业意愿存在倒U形关系;利用式学习和探索式学习对再创业意愿具有显著正向作用;失败学习在创业失败次数和再创业意愿之间起完全中介作用,在创业失败程度和再创业意愿之间起部分中介作用。

Through the introduction of variables for learning from failure,this paper builds an analytical framework that focuses on entrepreneurial failure experience,learning-from-failure and subsequent entrepreneurial intention.Based on the empirical data of 214 entrepreneurs with failure experiences,the paper uses the correlation analysis and multiple regressions to carry out the research about the relationship between the variables.The results demonstrate that the number and the degree of entrepreneurial failures have an inversed U-shaped relationship with both learning-from-failure and subsequent entrepreneurial intention;exploitative and exploratory learning have significant positive effects on subsequent entrepreneurial intention;learning-from-failure plays a full mediating role between the number of entrepreneurial failures and subsequent entrepreneurial intentions,and a partial mediating role in the relationship between the degree of entrepreneurial failure and the subsequent entrepreneurial intentions.
