The new era and new situation has given new signifi-cance and put forward new requirements to the ideological andpolitical education in colleges and universities, making it con-fronted with new challenges. To apply Carl Rogers＇s ＂peo-ple-centered＂ theory and technology of psychological counselinginto the current ideological and political education in colleges anduniversities is not only in line with the current advocacy of the e-ducation concept that ＂the fundamental task of education is to e-ducate people, and education should be based on students andemphasize students＇ dominant position in education＂, but alsoimproves the effectiveness and scientificalness of the ideologicaland political education in colleges and universities.
