"也许"和"兴许"常常被用来表示对事件的结果或发展进行推测和估测,本文试从共时历时的角度探索二者的差别。从共时角度看,"也许"的句法位置最为灵活,"兴许"一般不出现在句末;"也许"经常连用共现,而"兴许"却很少;两者常常和语气词"吧"共现。从历时的角度看,"也许"词汇化主要由于结构的重新分析以及双音化趋势的影响,"兴许"的形成则主要是对方言的吸收,没有一个明显的词汇化过程。

"Yexu"and"Xingxu"are often used to indicate and estimate the outcome or development of an event.This article tries to explore the differences of the two words from the synchronic and diachronic perspectives.From the synchronic perspective,syntactic position of"Yexu"is more flexible,and"Xingxu"does not appear at the end of the sentence;"Yexu"is often used together,but"Xingxu"rarely does so;"Yexu"and"Xingxu"often appear with the mood word"ba"(吧).From the diachronic point of view,the lexicalization of"Yexu"is due to re-analysis of structure and bisyllablization trend,and the formation of"Xingxu"is mainly assimilation of dialects without a clear process of vocabulary.
