The ideological construction of party members is essential to the development of commercial banks. This paper makes a detailed analysis on the importance and existing problems of the ideological construction of the party members in the rural commercial banks under the new situation, and makes a deep inquiry into the strategy of constructing the party members＇ thought of the rural commercial banks under the new situation. The main purpose of this inquiry is to strengthen the ideological and political construction of the party members of the rural commercial banks, actively respond to the call of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China on the ideological and political construction of the party members.
