明初,黔西北水西彝族女政治家奢香成功解决马烨激变事件,并通过系列举措增强与中央的联系,促进了水西地区的民族发展,维护了国家统一与民族团结。奢香在水西地区的实践举措不仅体现了她的家国情怀,也反映了她对民族发展规律的深刻认识。水西土司在协调好与中央关系的同时,积极推动地方民族发展的历史图景,对当代少数民族和民族地区的发展具有启示意义。

In the early Ming Dynasty,She Xiang,the Female politician of the Yi ethnic group in Shuixi region of Northwest Guizhou,successfully resolved the incident of Ma Ye and enhanced the ties with the Central Government through a series of measures to promote national development in the Shuixi region,safeguarding national unification and national unity.Measures adopted by She Xiang in Shuixi region not only reflected her feelings towards hometown and country,but also showed her profound understanding of the law of national development. While coordinating the relations with the Central Government,Shuixi Tusi（ one of the administrative regions under jurisdiction of ethnic Yi officials in Ming Dynasty） has actively promoted the historical development of the local ethnic groups,which has enlightening significance to the development of contemporary ethnic areas.
