“艺术学理论”学科称谓争鸣的学理辨析

An Academic Analysis on the Name of the Discipline of “Art Theory”

艺术学升级为独立学科门类后,为了艺术学科的完善化理想,对其一级学科"艺术学理论"的学科称谓的辨析与学科建设是艺术学界一直面对的问题。依据对学科学理的确认,通过逻辑辨析、词语解析、学科比较的方法来辨析"艺术学理论"学科称谓的问题。并选择当下被讨论较多的几个学科名称,即"艺术学""艺术学理论""艺术理论学"和"艺理学",分别对其进行比较论述,从而得出"艺理学"之名更具有优势的结论,从学科名称可能会带来的影响价值上分析了"艺理学"学科名称的合理性,认为以其更换"艺术学理论"学科之名是有可行性和价值的。

After the study of art has attained the status of an independent discipline and to perfect art disciplines, practitioners in this field have always confronted the problem of how to name the first level discipline of “art theory” and how to build this discipline. Based on an academic confirmation of the discipline, this paper analyzes the suggested names of “art theory” by means of logical analysis, terminological explication and discipline comparison. After comparing the proposed names, such as “Arts”, “Artistic Theory”, “Art Theory”, “Arts Science”, “Arts Science” is chosen as the most fitting name. Considering that the name of a discipline may influence its value, this paper analyzes the suitability of “Arts Science” and concludes that its substitution for “Art Theory”is feasible and valuable.
