关于“词义组合同化”命题的思考

"词义组合同化"是一种词义演变说。该观点引起许多学者的关注与探讨,但目前学界对这个命题的基本问题并未达成共识。本文旨在详细讨论"词义组合同化"的基本性质和产生原因。我们认为:"词义组合同化"本质上是一种语用效应,它不是独立的词义演变路径和构词法;造成这种现象的主要原因是汉语词汇双音化。

“word-meaning-combined-association” is an opinion of word-meaning evolution. Since it was presented, many scholars have paid close attention to it and made efforts to research it.Until today, however, there is no common views about it . Therefore, we will explore its properties and causes in detail on the researches of other scholars. Wb think that“word-meaning-combined-associatioii” in a large part is an effect of pragmatics. It neither has the quality of being an independent road of word-meaning evolution, nor way of word building. The main cause of the pragmatic effect comes from the lexical disyllabification of Chinese.
