摘要
建议在地震震源机制解的沙滩球表示中包括滑动矢量,从而更直观地显示地震断层错动特性。文中还给出了在Matlab环境中实现的两个带有滑动矢量的沙滩球投影图举例,其中一个使用的是真实数据,另一个使用的是合成数据。
A suggestion is made that the slip vector(s) should be included in the beachball presentation of a focal mechanism, so that the characteristics of the earthquake fault could be presented more intuitively. Two examples showing the beachball presentation in the Matlab environment are given in this paper, one with real data and one with synthetic data.
