论地方本科院校服务“一带一路”倡议的国际化转型——以攀枝花学院为例

On Internationalization of Local Universities to Serve the Proposal of “One Belt and One Road”——A Case Study of Panzhihua University

国际化是衡量一所高校办学水平和办学实力的重要指标,而地方本科院校由于地理位置、政策支持、经费条件、办学层次等原因,国际化程度整体较低,成为制约学校可持续发展的重要因素。地方本科院校应抓住"一带一路"倡议提出的机遇,积极与沿线国家进行教育对接,从树立国际化意识、开展国际交流合作、发展留学生教育、加强保障能力建设、服务地方经济社会等方面采取有效措施,推进国际化办学,培养具有国际化视野的高素质应用型人才和中外友好使者,实现地方高水平大学的转型发展。

Internationalization is a standard by which both the management and teaching achievement ofa university is judged. Located in marginal areas and limited by insufficient financial,policy and academicsupport,internationalization level of local universities is far from satisfactory,which is a huge deterrent tosustainable development of these universities. The proposal of “ One Belt and One Road”presents an opportunity that the local universities cannot afford to let slip. Instead,they should take active measures to cooperate with the countries involved in the area of education. By advocating the internationalization awareness,launching international cooperation programs,exchanging students,building supporting capability and serving the local areas in both social and economic development,these universities should run on the international stage and develop high - quality application - ready graduates with international vision and friendlyambassadors to achieve successful transformation of local universities.
