Construction of MTCSOL and its Employment Prospect under the New Pattern of Opening to the Outside World in Henan

汉语国际教育专业具有鲜明的国际化和应用型特色,但本专业一直存在学生培养质量不高、就业竞争力不强、创新能力不足等问题。在"一带一路"新的对外开放格局下,各高校应有重点、分阶段、有步骤地创建对外汉语教师团队,推出有本土特色的文化实践基地,加强多方面合作,为学生搭建创新创业实训平台,持续送出对外汉语教育人才,扩大我们的国际影响力。

MTCSOL（Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages） has its distinctive international and practical characteristics. But in Henan, the quality of students majoring in it is not very high, and the competitiveness in obtaining jobs is not very strong. Besides, their innovative competence is not enough. As the opening in Henan is wider and wider, universities and colleges in Henan should focus on teachers＇ training, setting up cultural practice bases with local characteristics. In addition, joint efforts are needed to build a solid platform for students＇ innovation and entrepreneurship training and to send off our Chinese teachers abroad, expanding the international influence of Henan.
