针对目前广州十三行历史街区的乱象,主张为保护国家历史名城、培育世界文化名城,必须延续历史街区固有的文化脉络、维护其文化的本质特征、发挥自身的文化复活能力、刷新商埠文化品牌、建构高档次的国际化的旅游产业,方可满足国内需要、跟上世界趋势,实现可持续发展。

In the case of Guangzhou Thirteen Hongs, the protection of historical blocks should depend on continuing the culture heritage and uniqueness, renewing the cultural brand and cultural strengths, as well as building up premium international tourism industry, in order to protect and upgrade Guangzhou as a world cultural city. This is the sustainable way to ride with the trend of the world.
