大学:促进性别平等的重要基石——《“他为她”影响10×10×10计划之大学平等报告》解读 被引量:1

摘要 作为一种特殊的社会组织,大学不仅具有学术引领和道德示范作用,还是社会发展的引擎和社会正义的守卫者。因此,大学在提高女性的社会地位和促进性别平等方面具有其他社会组织不可替代的巨大功用。通过对联合国妇女署2016年9月发布的《"他为她"影响10×10×10计划之大学平等报告》文本和各校举措分析,梳理出了十所大学为促进性别平等而采取的四条主要措施:缩小行政管理中的性别差异,提高高级职位女性比例;吸引女性关注科学、技术、工程和数学领域,提高女性在该领域的比例;杜绝校园暴力,维护女性人身安全;创建卓越研究中心,引领世界性别问题研究的新角度;总结出了十所大学在促进性别平等方面的共同点:大学最高领导的高度重视;多措并举,特色亮点频出;重视性别平等文化的营造与培植以及强调男性在性别平等中的作用。 University,as a special social organization,has played a leading role in academy and acted as a role model in the moral arena,but also has been the engine of social development and the defender of social justice. As a result,universities have an irreplaceable role in improving women's social status and in promoting gender equality. Based on the textual analysis of UN Women He For She IMPACT 10 x10 x10 University Parity Report published in September 2016,this paper systematically explains actions that have been taken in 10 model universities throughout the world in terms of promoting gender equality,which include increasing the proportion of women in senior leadership positions; improving the proportion of women in the fields of science,technology,engineering and mathematics; preventing violence against women on campus and creating excellent research centers in relation to gender issues. It then summarizes similarities among those 10 model universities in relation to promote gender equality: 1) top level leaders have attached special attentions; 2) multiple measures have been taken simultaneously; 3) the creation and cultivation of gender equality culture has been identified as an effective means; and 4) emphasizing the role of men in promoting gender equality.
