西文地图的MARC21格式著录方法探析

西文地图的著录方法是在西文图书编目的基础上,增加了007、034、255字段,008字段按地图的特点进行著录,300字段也按地图的特点,加以描述,其他字段同西文图书的著录方法。子字段也有标识符,字段结束也有有句点的,也有没有句点的,涉及某地理区域的也要有043字段,是丛编的也有490与830字段等等。

The 007, 034 and 255 field are added into the description method of the western language maps, based on the catalog of the western language, the 008 field and 300 field are described according to the characteristics of the map. Other fields are the same as those of Western books. Sub-field also has an identifier, the end of the field may have a period or no. The description method involving the geographical area has the 043 field, while the 490 and 830 fields are used for the series and so on.
