This paper studies the necessity of the teaching reform of the design process and method of the applied undergraduate colleges,and introduces the related situations,including the contents,methods,means,tools and assessment methods of the curriculum of the design procedure and method. The teaching reform methods are very helpful for students to contact the system of product design,master the design methods,process tools and other roles,which is confirmed by the companies of graduates.
