The process principle and technical characteristics of the Claus ＋ SSR sulfur recoveryprocess and the SULFOX wet gas sulfuric acid process are introduced. Moreover,the problems existingin the actual operation of the two processes and their solutions are analyzed. Actual operation resultsshow that both two technologies can meet the requirements of environmental protection,but theSULFOX wet gas sulfuric acid process is more advanced.
