咀嚼口香糖对老年人结肠镜检查前肠道准备效果的影响

Effect of Chewing Gum on Bowel Preparation of Elderly Patients before Colonoscopy

目的评价咀嚼口香糖法在老年人结肠镜检查肠道准备中的应用效果。方法选择2017年2月—6月在复旦大学附属华东医院消化内镜中心就诊的老年患者198例,分为对照组99例,干预组99例。对照组按照结肠镜检查常规行肠道准备及指导,干预组在常规准备基础上,对受检者指导其在服药间歇有计划地咀嚼口香糖,比较2组受检者不良反应发生的情况和肠道准备清洁度。结果 2组不良反应发生率差异无统计学意义(P>0.05),干预组的肠道清洁度优于对照组(P<0.05)。结论老年人结肠镜检查前肠道准备期间指导其有计划地咀嚼口香糖,可提高肠道准备清洁效果。

Objective To evaluate the effect of chewing gum in bowel preparation of the elderly patients before colo-noscopy. Methods 198 elderly patients for colonoscopy during the period from Feb., 2017 to Jane, 2017 were selected and divided into 2 groups： control group and intervention group, 99 in each; routine bowel preparation and instructions were per-formed on all patients while chewing gums at the intervals of medication was added to patients in intervention group; the oc-currence of adverse reactions and bowel cleanliness of the patients in the 2 groups were compared. Results There existed no statistical difference in the occurrence of adverse reactions between the 2 groups （P〉0.05） while the bowel cleanliness of the patients in intervention group was much better than that of the patients in control group （P〈0.05）. Conclusion Before colo-noscopy guiding the elderly in a planned manner during bowel preparation like chewing gum can improve bowel preparation cleaning effect. Chewing gum in bowel preparation of the elderly patients before colonoscopy can raise the bowel cleanliness.
