侗台语与汉语的历史关系

The Historical Relationship of the Kam-Tai Language and Chinese

本文的研究说明，早期侗台语与商周时代汉语的语音和形态相近，有较多的对应词，早期侗台语和汉语原本应是相近的语言或方言。战国、两汉时期它们已分布在不同区域，关系不是很密切，侗台语的古汉语借词并不是很多。

This paper argues that the early Kam-Tai language and the Chinese language as spoken in the Shang-zhou Era were similar both in phonology and morphology, and shared quite a number of correspondent words, which suggests that they were originally similar languages or dialects. During the Warring States and the West and East Hart periods, the two languages distributed in separate regions and did not have a close contact with each other. There are not many old Chinese loanwords in the Kam-Tai languages.
