自我夫妇1995年夏天初访拜罗伊特乐剧节以来,直到2016年第十度访问,看了将近70次演出,对这座演艺圣殿可算相当熟悉了。回想23年前初次到访,曾经写过一篇长文同载于多家知名报刊,下面部分有关乐剧节的简介,也是取材于此。1995年的夏天,我夫妇首度应邀造访德国的拜罗伊特乐剧节（the Bayreuth Festival）。此行看了七出乐剧,包括四联剧＂《指环》系列＂及三出＂非指环＂乐剧,前后为期十天。我夫妇有幸能得到戏票,

The author and his wife first visited Wagner's Bayreuth Festival in summer of 1995. Until 2016 they visited Bayreuth a total of 10 times,attended around 70 performances at this world-famous "supreme hall of performing arts." To the most zealous fans of Richard Wagner, such visits are comparable to a religious pilgrimage to Mecca or Jerusalem.
