A Probe into the Project-Driven Teaching of“Data Mining”

"数据挖掘"是我国高校计算机专业的重要内容。数据挖掘课程以工作任务为主线构建和组织课程,将完成工作任务所需要的必备相关理论和知识涵盖于项目之中。数据挖掘课程采用项目导向、任务驱动的模式,通过资讯、决策、实施、检查、评估等"五步法"组织教学。学生在完成具体项目的过程中,通过完成相应的工作任务,既掌握了相应的理论知识,又训练了职业能力。

＂Data mining＂ is an important part of computer major in China＇s universities. The ＂data-mining＂ course constructs and organizes the task-centered course, which includes the necessary theories and knowledge needed to complete the task into the project. The ＂data-mining＂ course adopts the project-oriented and task-driven mode and organizes teaching through such five steps as information, decision-making, implementation, inspection and evaluation. The students not only grasp the corresponding theoretical knowledge but also train their vocational ability by completing corresponding tasks in the process of finishing specific projects.
