摘要
大学英语教改实施10年来,口语教学愈来愈受到重视,但任务型口语教学因缺乏有效的教学设计、口语学习质量监控与评价机制而影响着教学实效的提高,因此有必要加强教学设计并探索有效的监控与评价机制。"以评促控"监控与评价机制以提高学生口语水平为目的,以评价促监控,从过程和成果两个维度着手,一方面通过监控学习行为变化来评价、检验口语学习进度和效果,另一方面通过监控学习成果质量来评价、检验口语任务及教学目标达成情况。实验结果表明,该机制在提高学生口语和自主学习能力、改善学生情感体验等方面确有实效。
College spoken English teaching has been paid great emphasis along with the college English teaching reform for the past 10 years. However, the teaching efficiency is still badly influenced by the deficiency of instructional design for the task- based oral activities and the lack of mechanism for monitoring and assessing the oral activity quality. Thus, it is necessary to val- ue the instructional design for the oral activities and explore the effective monitoring and assessment mechanism. The "Assess- ment-monitoring Stimulation" mechanism, stimulating monitoring by assessment, is to monitor and assess the oral activity effi- ciency from two aspects of the learning process and result. It assesses both the progress and efficiency of the oral activity by moni- toring students' learning activities, and the accomplishment of the oral assignments and the teaching targets by monitoring the quality of the activity. The purpose of the mechanism is to develop students' spoken English. The experiment results show that the "Assessment-monitoring Stimulation" mechanism is effective for promoting students' spoken English and self-regulated learning a- bilities, as well as the emotional experience.
