The Application of Event Segmentation in Event Narration

事件叙述是记叙文教学学习的重要组成部分。叙述得以观察为前提,我们依赖知觉将原始事件进行分割,形成不同的子事件或事件单元。在叙述中,事件的状态变化、推进发展得依赖新事件、事件单元的不断更新引入。在事件单元的不断聚集中,为了避免情景混杂、模糊不清,事件、事件单元必须有自己的边界,必须彼此断裂、独立开来,才能使得事件的发展变化清晰有序。事件边界标记做为一种语言标记,能有效履行该职责。事件边界标记的选择得以事件边界标记效应为准则。写作中,正确选择事件边界标记、合理判断边界效应是成功的关键,是推进呈现事件变化发展的核心所在。

Event narration is a key part in narrative writing and teaching. Perception is the first step of narration. Through it we segment the event into different segments. When we come to exact narration,dynamic system of an event is demonstrated by updating event segments and drawing into new event segments.With the gathering of different event segments,it is necessary to separate different segments and avoid tangling together. If it is well done,the event can flow forward sequentially and vividly,with no problems like scene tangling,vague track of event flow and so on. Event boundary mark is of linguistic sign and can well play the role above,separating different segments. The event boundary marks are not easy to choose. In choosing them,we should follow the principle of event boundary effect,which can tell us whether it is good or not. Undoubtedly,if we want to be a successful narrative writer and demonstrate a fluent flow of event dynamic system,it comes first to choose the right event boundary mark and determine the event boundary effect.
