中国特色社会主义进入新时代需要创新的人才,而创新人才不能完全靠传统的方法去甄别和选拔。与传统方法相比,辩论更看重审辩思维,体现"大成智慧",是发现和培养创新人才的重要方法。辩论应该追求"有意义"和"有意思",全国学术辩论正是体现这一精神的赛制。辩论的发展仍存在不少有待完善的问题,解决这些问题需要依赖辩论教育的开展。

Socialism with Chinese characteristics in a new era requires innovative talents who cannot be distinguished and selected entirely by traditional methods. Compared with traditional methods, debate focuses more on critical thinking and embodies ＂metasynthetic wisdom＂ as an important way of identifying and cultivating innovative talents. The direction of debate should be ＂meaningful＂ and ＂interesting＂, which exemplified by national academic debate competitions. There is still room to improve which relies on the unfolding debate education.
