Role of Female and the Political Process in Liberia:A Case Study during the Period of Civil War and Peace

由于女性在战争、和平的政治进程中具有重要意义,因此,这里选择以极具标本价值的利比里亚为案列,系统梳理该国女性在内战前、内战期间与和平过渡期的角色,以此展现内战与和平过渡期的女性角色嬗变,并在此基础上探究利比里亚女性与战争、和平之间的关系,从而为普遍意义上的女性与战争、和平关系提供一种地方知识上的解读。

War and peace is the core issue of international relations,but the traditional study on this has ignored the gender factor,which leads to the concealment of female role in this core issue.Because of the significance of relations between females and war peace,accordingly the article will choose the Liberia as the country-specific case that extremely possess the specimen value,to study systematically the Liberian females＇ role during the pre-war,civil war and interim peace,and showing the diversion of Liberian females＇ role in the war and interim peace of1989-2016,based on that,the article will explore the relations between Liberian females and war,peace,and at the same time contribute the local knowledge to the universal understanding to relations referred.
